Mohammad Rana:  CEO

Mohammad Rana launched his successful hospitality career with Bass Hotels in London as he worked his way through school. He continued his career in Hospitality with the Holiday Inn in Foster City and Holiday Inn Palo Alto Stanford where he occupied several management positions with successful achievements at the various levels of responsibility he acquired during his tenure (Guest Service Manager, Front Office Manager and rooms Division Manager). Late in 1993 's he  continued him  ascending career working for Cyntergy Corporation on the WWHS project where he  opened and trained Hotel Employees for more than 300 Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn  Express  and Crown Plaza and properties. He also assisted in the world wide “Roll out” of the HIRO project for Holiday Inn Corporation. 

Mohammad also worked with the Motel 6 franchise in their “PMS Rollout” (Property Management System) since early 1997, Mohammad has dedicated part of his time to consulting and helping other businesses achieve success. Mohammad possesses an impeccable record of achievements in revenue growth through tactical eBusiness distribution management. Knowing the value his years of unique and targeted experiences in the hospitality industry can bring to any hotel Mohammad founded Hotel Revenue Management Consultants to provide innovative and well experienced revenue management solutions for hotels that need cost-effective competitive advantages. Over the past 20 years he has worked with Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Best Western and Hampton Inns as a Revenue Consultant and full service Management Company. Mohammad’s management style is from an owner's perspective and brings his considerable experience and inherent strengths to the forefront of the businesses he operates resulting in tightly controlled and profitable businesses.

His primary focus is to lead property level management teams to maximize revenues by creating yield and pricing strategies, and implementing those strategies across multiple booking channels. In addition, Mohammad is able to provide support to properties in various areas of Guest Service, Front Desk Training, up selling, sales and marketing, particularly with on-line marketing and social media

Mohammad Rana holds a B.S. in Business Administration; He also has a Master of Science in Hospitality Industry Studies with a concentration in Revenue Management and Strategic Marketing from New York University. Mohammad is passionate about the Hospitality industry, a hallmark of any professional who truly is the best in his field. He involves himself in many volunteer projects relating to his career. He is an active member of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International, ASTA and is a corporate travel coordinator for a few major Companies who Book hotel rooms in the greater bay area.

 

Mohammad  also participated in the Hospitality Program acting as "Principal for the day", serving as a role model in the San Jose school district, motivating students in their search for a career in the Hospitality Industry. He has been an active member of Club Sport in Fremont for past 11 years where   he motivates friends and co-workers to run ½ Marathons or Full Marathon with him. All this, while directly overseeing the revenue and operations management of several hotels at any given time. 

Guest speaker at San Jose State College, hospitality program on Revenue Management.  He is also part of a focus group with Mission College, Santa Clara.

Ruben is a results driven Food and Beverage Director with over 15 years experience with IHG, Starwood and Radisson hotels.  His track record of increasing revenue and lowering labor costs has made him a desirable asset to his hotels.  Ruben is highly creative and experienced in creating menus, guidelines and operational guides.  Ruben's mindset of "Happy Employees, happy customers" has aided in the overall staff and guest satisfaction.  Highly skilled in diverse cuisines, such as American, Island, French, Italian, Argentinean and Mediterranean.   He develops an appealing yet lucrative menu while working in direct cooperation with patron and chef, following up on each phase to ensure seamless completion of all particulars and customer satisfaction.
